Mr. DeZearn oversees our operations in the states of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Prior to assuming these responsibilities, Mr. DeZearn served as the first General Manager of LogistiCare's South Carolina program.

Mr. DeZearn joined the LogistiCare team in May 2007, coming from a role he held as the southeastern regional director of operations at DHL Global Mail in Weston, Fla. Prior to that he worked for 10 years as regional manager of operations for APX Logistics of Santa Fe Springs, Calif. Mr. DeZearn also spent 14 years as the operations manager in Atlanta for the direct marketing company, Ace Marketing.

Mr. DeZearn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Tennessee.

Outside the office, Mr. DeZearn is a self-proclaimed golf addict. "I try to play as much as I can," he says. With two girls in college and a busy work schedule, though, "it's not always easy to get out and play." He also enjoys just spending quality time with his family.

Mr. DeZearn's biggest professional accomplishment is also one he considers to have been his most complicated. "In a previous job, I oversaw the packing and stadium distribution of 68,000 seat-specific kits for the audience participation activities during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta," he explained.
